WHAT'S NEW

SAVE / LOAD

Five manual slots and one autosave. Autosaves run every 60 simulated seconds and when you pause. Files embed their region and settings. Loading starts paused; your previous game is kept for Undo last load. Training, Live and replay playback are excluded from game saves.

Command replay covers this running session from its start or last load, with up to 10,000 recorded events / 24 simulated hours before a new checkpoint. Historical readbacks remain in save/report files. Playback is read-only and keeps the original game.

SETTINGS

Radar appearance

Soft light around radar lines, fixes and aircraft, with a crisp text core.

Static horizontal lines on the radar. Independent of glow; neither effect flickers.

Sound is off by default. Enabling it never replaces visual alerts.

Aircraft also use distinct symbols: arrivals are squares, departures diamonds, transfers circles. Emergencies retain a ring and a text label. Settings are remembered on this device.

LEDGER

Income is positive; fines and other costs are negative. The simulation is paused while you read.

TRAINING

Checked steps earn completion. You can replay or restart any lesson.

QUICK REFERENCE

Select an aircraft on the scope or a flight strip. Give it a heading, altitude and speed, or build a route through fixes. Watch the predicted path and keep aircraft separated.

CONTROL TRAFFIC

Space
On the radar, accept selected inbound handoff or the oldest waiting aircraft. On a button, activate that control.
H / A / S / D
Start a heading / altitude / speed / direct command.
C / G
Clear approach / go around.
T / F
Clear takeoff / hand aircraft to the next sector.
I
Send a waiting departure for de-icing; with snow on the runway it must be done before take-off.
X / K
Hold or release / acknowledge an emergency.
Tab / Shift+Tab
On the radar, next / previous aircraft. On controls, move keyboard focus. Esc clears selection.

SCOPE AND ROUTES

Drag / wheel
Pan / zoom the scope. Focus the radar to use arrow keys to pan and [ / ] to zoom. Hover previews; click pins focus.
Shift+click fixes
Build a route for the selected aircraft; Enter applies it. Esc cancels.
Right-click
Create a temporary waypoint on the scope.
Routes tab
Save, edit and assign reusable routes.
P / 1 / 2 / 4
Pause / run at 1x, 2x or 4x speed.
L / + / -
Toggle timeline / increase or decrease text size.

COMMAND LINE

H270 A80 S220 D HAWKE
Turn to 270, climb/descend to 8,000 ft, speed 220 kt, direct HAWKE. A heading followed by a direct clearance ends in direct navigation.

BAW123 H270 addresses that callsign; otherwise commands apply to the selected aircraft. A3000 means 3,000 ft; A80 means 8,000 ft. C clears approach; G goes around.

FIRST ARRIVAL

Accept the handoff. Descend and slow down while routing toward the runway. Clear approach when aligned and within the approach envelope. The aircraft follows the ILS and lands automatically.

GLOSSARY

ILS
Runway guidance for the final approach: localiser for direction, glidepath for descent.
FL
Altitude in hundreds of feet using standard pressure. FL80 is 8,000 ft.
QNH
Local pressure setting in hectopascals, shown in the weather report.
STAR / SID
Published arrival / departure routes. Descend or climb via follows their altitude and speed limits.
ATIS / METAR
Airfield briefing / observed airfield weather.
CPA / TCAS
Predicted closest approach / last-resort collision avoidance.
kt / nm / LVP
Knots / nautical miles / low-visibility procedures.

Safety and scoring: read alerts early. Income and fines appear in the ledger. TOOLS, then INCIDENTS opens the report and replay explaining a separation event. Training mode averts collisions; it still records infringements.
