Five manual slots and one autosave. Autosaves run every 60 simulated seconds and when you pause. Files embed their region and settings. Loading starts paused; your previous game is kept for Undo last load. Training, Live and replay playback are excluded from game saves.
Command replay covers this running session from its start or last load, with up to 10,000 recorded events / 24 simulated hours before a new checkpoint. Historical readbacks remain in save/report files. Playback is read-only and keeps the original game.
